: On The Road To Recovery
Apexaholic 08-31-2006, 09:30 PM Well I know I havent been here much , but I still like to drop in from time to time.
I got admitted tot he ST. Marys hospital last week due to not being able to breath .
I spent the week in there and got released last night.
I have been to 3 doctors and a ENT specialist and they missed it.
It seems my Boncial tubes were inflammed and cosing up on me.
I was a very low O2 level , they hooked me to a montor to check my 02 levels, my heart rate and whatever else it does.
I was told they were suprised I didnt have a stroke or heart attack with the low Oxygen levels .
A resporoligist was brought in to attend me ASAP.
Im very happy as I had an appt not unitl OCT 16th.
I have been sick since Febuary and its been hell.
I have lost over 50 lbs ( not that thats a bad thing)
Looks like Ill be back to riding this winter.
Hope we can all hook up for a ride.
Scott

trailblazer 09-01-2006, 12:33 PM Hi Scott
WOW! Sorry to hear all that.
Hopefully they can get things figured out and get you back to your old self again.
As far as the ride and weight goes, don't worry Buddy.
St. Clements Wing Night's will be starting soon.
We can get together for that ride and you can eat 50LBS of wings. :lmao:
Last time we saw you there, was when they had their massive spring flood.
We'll have to make sure that we keep Indysks, Monique and red wine separated.
Get well soon.
Jeff
You've probably felt like you were at the receiving end here.

hey apex i see you post on the OSCA website also. you were talking about getting your house tested for mold how did you make out with that.?
kennypope 10-06-2006, 03:03 AM Sorry too hear things have turned for the worst....hopefully your back on track for the snow flying...and some riding up in Cochrane this year!
Apexaholic 10-06-2006, 08:14 AM hey apex i see you post on the OSCA website also. you were talking about getting your house tested for mold how did you make out with that.?

Tests cam back with very small amount of toxic mold in the air.
But I called and asked if it was enough to worry about I was told no.
But then I mentioned that Im alergic to mushrooms ( ask Trailblazer and Jaquii583 ) and they said then I could have a problem then.
The hose owner is getting the ducts cleaned as they have never been done and the house is 60 years old.
What is your username on OSCA.
Im trying to get better to make the finals and JP race next week.

trailblazer 10-06-2006, 11:12 AM Scott, sorry to hear things took another turn-around.
Hope they figure out what's agravating things real soon.
Wing nights aren't that far away and you've got some weight you need to regain.
Let's hope it's just due to something in the ducts and you'll be better in no time.
I'm no doctor, but I've noticed another side effect that the doctors may have missed.
You're repeating yourself. :lmao:
