Covered trail 2 last week and things look rather dry in the swamps and marshes, so the runs over to Curtis should be good this year. It was very dusty on the quads, but a great ride.

The entrance to the Jack Pine has been widened to about 15' so those new groomers can keep it smoother and safer this year.

Ya, new groomers! Two new Piston Bullies !!!! One big one and one small one are going to be ready for December!!!!! Thanks to the sticker funding money from the DNR and having a frugal club, they have two of the finest groomers around. Plus another one to work the south trails will be in service again! There are a lot of bridge and culvert repairs going on right now that will help keep the trails in better shape this winter. The DNR has really been working hard to make things better for everyone. Ya, Do Nothing Right! Let's give them credit when they do something good and right with our trail money! Thanks a Ton DNR !!!!


In the future I expect to see lots of additions and changes to our system in Schoolcraft County!!!

Should be another good season with the forcasts that I have heard so get those sleds ready to handle the deep stuff!!!!

We have had frost already, so the snow can't be far behind.

When the two new groomers arrive, I will try to get some pictures. I'm sure all the guys running them will want to do a lot of extra riding this year. They are nice machines and very comfortable. Just like sitting in an easy chair!!!
