i took apart my crank case today to get at the rotary gear, but does anyone know how to get it off?...i can get it about 3/4" but then i cant push the rest out

anyone know how to take out the rotary shaft??? my mechanic would tell me becasue he would would be out of a job, lol

There is a c-clip that has to br removed at the intake side, then the shaft can be removed. DO not beat on the threaded end, the shaft will bent very easily. I use a a socket to go over the threaded portion and tap on the socket, Be very carefull, I will repeat the shaft can be danaged very easily and is big $$$$$$$
I see a hammer in the first pic, I hope it's not to late!

yeah, i have hit it a cuple of time, but i used a philips screwdriver and placed it in the cenert...but that just messed up the threats, lucky i left that nut on their..
i will try the socket thing

OMG....i got it out now....i took the big clip off but never saw that little tiny clip inside the case. once i poped it off the shaft came right out....i had to do i little grinding to the shaft becasue i mushroomed the tip bit
not its going to be a pain to get thebrass off the rotary gear on the crank, its like baked on
