:bash: I learnd my lesson this time.....Well it looks like I got the shaft again trying to buy snowmobile stuff online.....I thought I bought the panel for my Rupp, I sent a cashiers check for a panel in good condition....Well I get an email this morning telling me that the panel broken and has a hole in it, but he will still send it.... I told him to just send the money back....now mind you I talked to him on the phone and was told that it was in great shape...now I can't get him on the phone....not to mention it was going to be painted on Tuesday! :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: I will never buy anything with out it being in my hand ever again !!!

Know how you feel, personally buying online scares the heck out of me.

Did he email you back with agreement to send the money back? Or was your email to him the last you have heard?

I bought a dis-assembled engine off ebay that was said to have a good crank, when i got it the thing was heavily rusted from improper storage. I thought i was screwed, but I talked to the seller and he was a decent guy and sent me a partial refund.

yes i have bought stuff on ebay and been ripped off one time. :bash: i sent a money order never again. i only use paypal now because if you have a problem you can reverse the charges. :thumbsup:

not according to my neighborhood salvage/ebay contact. He does cash or MO only on large item because paypal burned him twice on engines. H simply said he never received them.

they need more then a shipping receipt. Did they have delivery confirmation? They could have shipped there 2 cents to their neighbor for all you know. Tell Paypal that you want to see that that receipt was merchandise shipped to your address. If they cant provide that then Paypal needds to reopen the investigaion. You are out though if it was shipped to your address, even if he just shipped a letter that says "youve been had"

They said he had a receipt for my address....It did not need a signature and was not insured.....end of story! Feedback.....his 1st item! I have closedmy paypal and ebay account.
