There are two different Br9ecs plugs, one with a .018 gap and one with a .030 gap.
The .030 gaped ecs is for the SDI machines and the .018 gap is basically for everything else. When ever buying these plugs you should specify what plug you want by the part number on the box instead of just br9ecs. There are actually four different part numbers because each plug comes with and without the solid tops. I used to know each number but unfortunatly its been a long summer and I can't remember them any more. :whatever:

Maybe someone else here can come through with the stock numbers.

Hmmm, I used to know but I cant quite remember. I think it was NGK finally putting an addition marking on the plug to designate it a .030 gaping so that the part number wouldn't be needed. I could be wrong and I'm sure someone will correct me

Nope, you got it right.
I too get mixed up as to which plug is for the SDI and which isn't.
