I was having lunch at this bar on Sunday and saw some Snowmobiles doing the asphalt drag thing on ESPN. They didn't have the sound on so I couldn't tell exactly what was going on.

Did anyone else catch this segment?

I havn't seen it yet either, but what it is is the Brainard Nationals in Minnisota. That is the one race where the big guns get to run tar with the NHRA big shots.

It is great exposure for the sport,a nd part of the reason that asphault racing has taken off.

You went to the track with us Joe, it is real cool to see them sleds run so fast, so smooth. What did the one sled run? 8.80s that's hauling!

Not sure what they ran, I was eating and looked up and saw the cameras interviewing some guy running a triple Cat. They don't usually have the sound up too loud at the Eagles ;)

I wish they aired more sled stuff on ESPN! Speaking of which, does anyone know if they have the air time schedule for sno-x on espn yet? I'm going to start recording it so I can come back to it in the summer time. ;)
