i have an 2002 mxz 800 rer i am trying to take off fly wheel . i have alot of torque on puller and have hammered on it . still not off . what do i do next. may stator is bad. thanks

First of all make sure that your puller is pulling dead straight. If you have one of the bolts in too far and it tries to pull to the side, the flywheel comes off much harder. If that's not the problem, then you may have to use some heat. Use a propane torch (not oxy/acet) or a heat gun and put a small amount of heat on the flywheel. Be very carefull using a hammer on the crank. You can do more damage than you want to think about. It takes a lot of pressure on the puller most of the time.

The threaded puller that Doo has to pull the flywheel works awesome. If you have a local dealer close by that will work with you, they may let you take it to pull yours off. Or you may be able to take it to them and they can.
The magnets on the flywheel are "glued" to it. Be carefull putting a hammer on it
