Dave,

I would say go for it. I just did them on my old 01 800 with 2800 miles, and they were showing some signs of wear. Get a case of beer and PJ and I will be there.

Did PJ ask you if you have a Secondary tool? I need to service mine and dont want to take it to a dealer. any ideas?

Thanks man, Matt

I just replaced the speedo side bearing on my 2000 MXZ 6000 miles, had some rust and was ruff when spinning by hand. All three other bearings were good.

Very cool. I like that Idea!! Would you have any specs on the tools? Sounds fun to make one.

Dave uses a tie down bar wedged under his cabinets . pretty low tech but it works great
