I'd just like to know where they are starting to fall, because once the leaves fall, the snow does too :D

2 of the 3 trees in ND have no leaves and the other has mostly faded leaves that are falling fast and furious!! LOL :thumbsup:

I read an article the other day that stated with the abnormally dry-hot summer in many areas theres a good chance that leaves in those areas may not change color and will drop green.

The maples in my parent's property changed color in what my Dad said one day and fell the next. The oaks are still green. We got a decent amount of rain two weekends ago and I think thats what helped them out. Not that I have no Forestry degree or anything. SWRules

well most of the trees have changed and they are fallin fast with the winds we have had 60 mile a hour gusts and 30 mph winds constant but i got a good 2 to 3 months of no snow :( but it has been a little cold lately could it be an october snow fall !!!!!

A couple of my trees went early. Most of what does lose there leaves down here are now finally beginning to change. It is still wierd to me seeing broadleaf trees that are green year round.

We had peak color this weekend wind blew hard mon. many are on the ground now. It's OK muzzle loader season opens sat.

I'm heading to the cottage by Huntsville this weekend, hopefully the colours are nice. Usually they are over by this weekend, but things seem a little late this year.

i've got about 2 acres of full size maples and about 10% have turned colour.

My trees are all green and we are still waterskiing... :( It is very depressing.... chilling in the walk in for the mean time
