I have a '97 formula III 600 triple and was wondering what the best clutch set-up was for this? My sled has a complete dynaport exhaust and track has 144 studs, if that makes a diffence. Thanks. :bash:

I used to run a stiffer primary spring to bring the rpm up @ engagement. I wish I could remember that far back! I think it was green? Also added 18 gram pins and adjusted the clickers to run in #2 or #3. Iwish that I could be of more help but I sold my F-III in 2001 with 8500+ miles on it. I think that you might want to go with 192 on the studs though. Mine would not hook right unless I had them. The stock helix and spring were pretty solid. I tried a buch of different ones and always cane back to stock in the back, 17# of pretension worked best for me, that I do remember.
