i had big tree limb fall on my garage this summer in a storm.i was told its MANITOBA MAPLE. i kept some to burn in my garage this winter.
two weeks later my niebour had a maple tree fall also. not sure what kind of maple his is but MY TREE HAD VERY ROUGH BARK.
AND HIS HAS VERY FINE BARK.
his wood looks better to me the insurance people didnt remove his wood so he has a bunch.
its cut in 12in chunks been sitting 3 months now but not split yet doing that this weekend. will it be good to burn this winter or will it have to dry out more.?
