1999 Sks Track 1.25" To 2"

I have a 1999 SKS 700 that came with a 1.25 inch track. I want to know, will a 2 inch track fit nicely.

can fit a 1.75 in with any changes. to fit a 2 you have to put in an 8 pitch drive

I would think if you had a rolled chain case you would be fine but i dont know much bout polaries.

So did it slide in or did your have to make some mods?Just curious thats a pretty big lug size jump.
