Looking for a decent/reasonably priced Track Jack or stand for the rear bumper to keep the track off the ground. I am tired of straining my almost 40 something back. I currently have a home made wood stand, which works nicely but requires me to lift up the tail end of the sled.

Any good ones out there, that are easy to use, and do not require lifting?

Or how about getting the whole SLeD off the ground with a rec lift! :thumbsup: No lifting

just slide the lift under sled and with a quick turn of the handle

Everything I have shown you requires no lifting what so ever... and I have all 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup:

[attachmentid=29867]I took a old trailer lift and sawed the foot off and bolted a 3 in alum. pipe to the stand post. Now I can even leave it on the trailer and raise the track.

I have a few old fashioned bumper jacks that work well.I welded them to a base to raise them up a little and depending on the design you may need to attach some sort of hook to grab your rear bumper....I bought a fancy aluminium lift when they first came out.It still requires a lot of muscle to push down the handle and it was a pain in the butt to put in the little stop to hold it there.It also slides in the snow and would sometimes topple over anyway :bash: ..The bumper jacks are a little slower but require zero effort to use and you can't beat the price...I have a very bad back at times so I try to limit any heavy pushing or pulling and lifting...Good thing my old 670 usually fires up on the first pull :D

i use the same mine has wheels also. :thumbsup:

my brother in-law has one of those that he has under the back of his sled in my barn. he can keep it because it is always in the way. i'll suspend my sleds from the hooks that i have in the ceiling of my barn.

I ended up getting 2 of the PowerMadds. They are pretty much effortless, especially since we are using them in the trailer! (Can't stand up straight in trailer...I found myself lifting with the back only..no legs..bad!)

I appreciate your help and insight, and my boyfriend will appreciate the fact that he will not get hemroids this winter, from the odd lifting...sorry too discriptive?
