hey guys i'm new to sledding but i know that what is happening with my sled is not right. When the sled is running there is oil leaking from near my sparkplug but the oil in not coming from the sparkplug threads, I'm including a picture to help with what i mean but if someone could help me out i would really apreciate it. If it helps my sled is a 02 mxz800

wipe it clean and then spray soapy water on the area when it's running. if it bubbles then there is a crack in the head, but i doubt it.

i have the same sled and i get the exact same problem. its the washer on the spark plug. If you have removed and put the plugs back in a few times the sparkplug washer get compressed and does not seal as good. if you put in new plugs it should go away.

but the oil doesn't come from the sparkplug threads. will this still fix the problem?

The only thing that will seep from where you outlined would be coolant. If it's oil, it's coming from the spark plug.

idooski is correct. From the spot you are indicating only coolant can leak there.
