The other day I was taking my front shocks off to do a rebuild and as I'm taking off the coil springs I noticed that the paint is chiping and they are rusting. Anyone have any ideas on how to keep this from happening. Or do I just wait till they get bad enough and sand blast them and repaint? The only thing I could think of so far would be to maybe try and pack a little grease or spray lube in there. Or just wait till they get bad and repaint them or something. It just sucks that the sled only has 1500 miles and its only a yr old and already rusting and looking crappy right there. I guess you just see it more with these springs being green instead of black. Or maybe I'm just too picky.

I'm going to get my springs powder coated. There is a place in Tyindall Manitoba that does it. here is their website www.dicustomcoatings.com

Hey Zert,
Do you have a price on that. I was thinking about that too.

The cost would be approximately $50.00 for a single stage color that
they have in stock. It would take about one week to do once they receive them. I got an email from Glen Dudeck @ DI Custom Coatings.
