I went really really fast. Faster than anyone ever has. I then went even faster so fast that I had to stop and tell everyone how fast I went.
Then I woke from my dream and went snowmobiling.
Why does it matter?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why do ya have to be like that?... it's just another topic, nobodys saying that they care, or that it matters :whatever: ..... I know there's been lots of threads worse than this.

I went about 100mph on my Ski-Doo 700... but most of the time when I am going really fast, I try NOT to look away from the trail... so I don't check my mph very often.. :D

OK, after thinking about it, you have my apologies also. Comes back to "if you haven't got anything nice to say...........

Or maybe just getting old/cranky.

Ok..Ok I'm not that old, just cranky. I guess there really is no such thing as a stupid question. No really I give up. From now on I will just keep the comments to myself and let the juveniles rule this site.

its just us veterans have heard claims of top speed for years and they never amount to anything but arguments.

I personally prefer the grunt, the oh my God I'm gonna die tugging at your arms, the faster than you can think, tapping the ski's down at 90 pure acceleration - that's for me :D

Down south we don't have the lakes so it is all corner to corner.

Fastest feeling I ever was the first time I rode my buddies brand new 700 Polaris. We had not gone far and he stops on a closed road, hops off and tells me to let er rip - well that I did. I ripped through 90 before I knew it. Ski's tapping all the way. It was 40 HP over anything I had ridden before and it was a blast. When I shut her down well over 100 I was laughing to myself. What a rush. The Mighty ZR 9 is an animal but that first ride on that Polaris did it for me. I long to catch that feeling again, the feeling of fear, mixed with anticipation and a good dose of adrenalin. I was shaking when I got off that sled. I was high as a kite.

I've seen 113 showing on the SKS, but I'll agree, for me what I love is the acceleration in the 40-70mph range.
That said, there's no doubt that it's incredibly thrilling to hit 100+mph on a sled. Adreneline rush for sure.

I remember hitting 100 mph on my motorcylce once. I held it there for about 4 seconds ... just enough time for my entire life to flash before my eyes, and imagine all my skin rubbing off very, very quickly .... call me a sissy, but I'd probably cry if I went 100 on the snow ... (I know, I know ... come on Cam, be a man!!) w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t w00t

I feel much more comfortable on a sled at 100mph, though that's probably because the first time I hit 100 on a bike it was on an 83 RZ 350 that went into a speed wobble at exactly 100mph. Scary to say the least, I though I was finished.
The only other time I've done it was on an Interceptor, and it was much safer. Felt like I was cruising at about 60mph, not the 180kph showing on the clock.

I usually crap my pants when I hit about 90 and can't look down anymore at the gauges.

I just have to say, that although I drive fast, I'm not brave enough to push machinery to the limits (unless it's slow). It seems just about any snowmobile now can go that fast, everytime you squeeze the throttle full you're taking a risk. However, I like the idea of falling in snow better than pavement. I'll push a snowmobile hard any day, but as for dad's bike (Yeah, I don't have my own motorcycle yet, lol) I'll take 'er easy. Might be a different story if it were my own though, lol.

I went really really fast. Faster than anyone ever has. I then went even faster so fast that I had to stop and tell everyone how fast I went.
Then I woke from my dream and went snowmobiling.
