Im new on this forum and i wonder what is the psi compression it should have on my 800 xc 2005..At this time it test 150 psi on each cylinder but the odometer indicate 5000miles, my other question is if im due for a rebuild or a refresh.What do you think, you specialist :) about this engine.

I am not sure about Polaris for PSI but I know on most any other makes 150 is perfect its when you get down to 110 should be worried.

I do a lot of long distance riding, so reliability is something I put a lot of value in. With that in mind, I'll say I put new pistons in both my 800's at 5000 miles (like yours, both still had very good compression). '02 XC8X, '01 XC8X
