I did a search and couldn't find anything so I thought I would just ask.

I recently picked up a 97 Cougar and am sure that the coolant has not been changed in some time. Is there a drain plug? Best way to drain and fill.

Edit: oops, I meant 93 cougar.

drain is on the water pump,which is under the exhaust manifold.the valve has a nipple to put a small hose on it.you don't need to remove the valve just loosen. best way to drain would be to raise the back of the sled then loosen the drain.when you go to fill system raise the front of the sled higher than the rear.fill system slow stopping at times and letting system pure itself.after full start and run and check if full.
