Millenocket To Caribou

Anyone make this run? Was wondering time/mileage?

I've done that ride a few times, its usually the second leg of my trip. Its easily do-able in a day with plenty of time to spare. I'd say you're looking at about 170 miles if you go through Oxbow and Portage. I've done a 2 day trip from Phillips Maine (south of Rangeley) to Millinocket the first day then Millinocket to Caribou the second day.

We were looking to run up and back the same day. Are there plenty of places to stop: food ,fuel,etc?

Yeah theres plenty, im pretty sure theres gas in Sherman, you can gas up in Oxbow at a little lodge there. Then in Portage theres a general store with gas and good food so you'll be all set. If you put the hammer down you can make it there and back in a day IF the riding is good going. Theres a few ways you can come back so you sorta do a loop rather than riding back the exact same way you went up. Just watch the trail reports and see where riding is best.
