I just heard on the news about how another hunter died in his travel trailer due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Apparently he was using a propane heater in his travel trailer and deputies found him dead in the a.m.
That is a scary killer... silent one! I know we have a lot of hunters here so be careful Guys !

A couple of years ago 3 fishermen from the States died south of Timmins @ a fishing camp due to carbon monoxide poisoning.

i always wondered about these ice fishing huts . most are propane heated and some people who have the bigger units spend the night in them

Sounds like we won't need the heat in the camper this weekend. Its supposed to be 85 all weekend and 65 at night.

We just had a 20 year old man accidently (I hope) shot and killed by his father in a hunting accident this week. It was at night and the son was playing a joke on his Dad by sneaking up behind him to scare him. The father had his rifle over his shoulder and when the son jumped out to scare him the gun went off hitting the son in the head. I spent yesterday afternoon putting him together for the funeral on Monday and, it will be an open casket when I'm done.
Tragedy.
