We finally finished up with the 800@ of sugar beets on thursday, it had been almost two weeks of 10.00am to 2.30-4.30 am. I am really glad it is done. Now everyone will have plenty of sugar to go on there cereal ,there candy bars(hershys) ,cakes,ect. i wouldl ike to thank all who buy things that are made with sugar,(ours is the sugar beet,not the cane sugar)From a grower of American Crystal Sugar. also i would like to thank all who had to put up with the beet trucks, that where running 24 hrs aday, and all this btings with it.

Well, you have OUR thanks for putting in the time, effort, blood, sweat, tears, and everything else it takes to help provide the world with food for the table!! Take a load off and have a beer or several. You certainly deserve it!!

i enjoyed my beer, the crop was fair, bad weather all seaoson,, will be happy to go ice fishing,snowmobiling. plus it gave me a hell of a cold i am trying to kick.

i know what the farm work is like i live on a farm we used to be a large dairy farm then the price fell and we sold out now we are a large cash crop farm with close to 1000 acres its a hard job to get all the crops in in just a few weeks time and on top of that we started a custom harvest/hualing /commercial spraying biz we are busy busy busy... just got in to the beans today

its a dirty job, but some one has to do it, i must admit most of the time i love my job, however, there are times it does suck. thansk to all. hope all have a sweet tooth.
