I went to clean out the garden, and here was this plant that decided October is the best time to sprout. I think it's lettuce.

thats either rhubarb or a burr bush..not sure which when its that small

I know it's not rhubarb. I should've gotten a good picture of the purple flower on it hiding under the leaf there. Maybe it's a carrot--our carrots never sprouted this spring.
