I am really getting the itch now. Snowed REAL hard for a while this morning. Got almost an inch to stick to everything, which is impressive because it was pretty warm and really rainy all yesterday. Went out and fired up the Cat. I am so ready to ride. Probably be another mid-Jan year again knowing my luck...

wolfy,
if you want to live in the snow then you are going to have to drive for three days straight north, i know that some of those pictures are a three day drive for me and you are 2 days south from where i am.

Actually, no. Denver is a 12 hour drive, and I have family up there, so I don't even need to spring for lodging. Once in Denver, the mountains are just a couple of hours away. My first season was spent around Echo Lake learing how to ride, and even more so, jury rig the latest broken plastic piece that was disabling my "antique." Snow that season was pretty bad, and we never saw more than a half inch of snow at a time in town. Snow around Echo Lake was patchy at best.
Here's a clintcher - the very next fall, I moved down here to TX. They had a HUGE blizzard in town up there that shut everything down in the city. I would've been able to hop on the sled and ride over to my folks house if I had still been there. :( Of all the :cussing: luck!! :hallo9:

It snowed pretty good here for a while, 20 min blizzard, i went out and started my sled, and was just waiting, but the snow didn't stick.

Yup, that's right!
Well, now for this whole week they are calling for "snow showers" every day and night. It's gonna drive me nuts till there is enough to ride!
