I was down at White Star today and I saw three 2006 saber cat 500's go for 3,000.00 - $3,400.00. one had a small hood repair and was the least expensive and the most expensive had only 12 hours showing and still had a year of warranty left. All were relatively low miles.
It got me thinking, my youngest just turned 18 and my son is out of the house, we never ride as a family any more - it is usually just me and one other, maybe I need to downsize the fleet. It would be nice to get ride of a few sleds and replace them with something with reverse and electric start that I could use as a back up that almost anyone could ride. I have been thinking of selling the Zl500 and z440 anyway.
My question is, does anyone have any experience with the saber cats? None of the guys that I ride with have one and no one has asked me to fix one yet so I have no clue as to their ride, performance, mileage, etc. I did notice that the riding position does not look as aggressive as the F chassis.
Anyone have one, 500, 600, 700?
They had a few S7's too, I still really want an orange F7 as my next sled, but the S7 and S6 both looked pretty good.
Thanks folks
