I purchased a 05 GSX this fall and my 1+1 seat has arrived and I am going to install it on the weekend.

Anybody done one before? Any tips or pointers?

I have read the instructions and it seems straight forward, but I was surprised to read that I have to trim the trunk plastic.

Once it is on how hard it is to go back to the single seat and will the truck still work?

I didn't do mine myself, so I cant help much with installation. However, the little bit of trimming require is not noticable with the truck back on, and yes you can easily switch back and forth. That was the big selling point for me (despite the outrageous cost) its a cool system that gave me the flexibility I wanted.

Yes it was the flexibility that sold me as well. But I was shocked to see that I had to start cutting plastic.

The installation went well, probably took me 2 to 2.5 hours to complete. Looks like it will work well.
