Does your wife/girl friend/old lady/significant other/what ever you refer to her as (lets keep it clean) give you a hard time when it comes to dropping a few bucks for that new must have this or that for your ride?

It's easy around here, there is no wife or girlfriend to complain about what I throw away money on. If I ever do find one, a prerequisite will be that they like sledding! :hallo3:

My wife used to give me a hard time, but she doesn't anymore (much). I think she understands or tolerates what I do, realizes it is what I enjoy. Plus, I tell her I don't spend as much money on fishing lures anymore :D

She understands that sledding is my thing :D I bought her one a few years
ago and we go on 4 or 5 weekend trips together and all the other times it
just me and the boys ;) It does add up though,15 grand worth of sleds,
$1500 trailer,40 grand truck plus insuance gas and hotels and stuff :0:
It's all worth it.

I just tell her that I reaaaaalllllly need this or that to get the sled back on the trail. It's either that, or I sit home and we can BOTH be miserable (if you catch my drift) I can be pretty irritable if I try hard enough.

my wife can't say too much becuase when i pull the keys out of the sleds the money quits. she owns a couple of horses that require $1000.00 per year just in horseshoes, then feed, then vet bills, a trailer that if i spent that much on a sled trailer it would have living quarters, it just goes on and on.

Well i guess i can say that i am young enough to say that im not in that trap yet. They come, they go, but i do what i want. If i wanna go and drop money into my sled or my quad they don't say anything, they just think its kinda stupid. I just say "you don't understand." :nervous: :hallo1:

The wife is very understanding, she has her own sled, and when i want a new one ,she wants a new one, sorry paul, but it nice to hesr snother persons wife has some hay burners too. thers the feed, the hay,the ferier, the vet, the west nial shots, ect sll this so we can go ride once a year , worse then working on the sleds, thats for sure.

My wife works at the local dealership, so she doesn't mind.

She IS one of the expenses. She goes on nearly every trip with me lately. She's still waiting on her REV 600 HO to get here and she has already bought some aftermarket stuff for it. So...in answer to your question...no she doesn't give me a hard time at all. :D

Well this other half would only get upset if he spent all the $$$$ on his ride and there was none left for mine :hallo10:

my wife does not say much when I buy myself a new toy.I work seven days a week most of the time to pay for them.I also pay cash , so I guess that makes a differance.I learned a long time ago performancex,I have the dealer tell me on the phone or write it down so she never knows how much $$$ it was ;) .

As long as the bills get paid and she gets the goodies she wants-rings,new van, more babies I can pretty much get whatever I can afford :)

most of my past g/fs havent minded then there was one who always said i spent to much time on the ski-hill boarding or to much time on the trails she told me to pick her or my sled ;) im guessin you can figure out what i told her... SEE YA!!! havent even missed her.. now i got a good snowbunny... one with warm hands and that wants to go sleddin with me sometime so most of my g/fs dont mind they all know im crazy about sleds and if i had to choose i would pick the sled...

Ha, as 2002mxzx says! She usully doesn't mind, I tell her every sled I buy "just might be the laast one for quite awhile" I have a part time job I sock some of that money away, and once in awhile I do a side job at work and put that away in my own seperate account. When I have enough money saved ---- I BUY! She did want to know when I was selling my 99zrt600 the other day. I told her I didn't like the idea of getting $3000.00 for something I have $10,000 into so I thought I was going tokeep it. Kevin
