Ya the best thing you can do is use the low down and good interest. Then try to pay off as soon as you can. Note you may want to ask if there is an early pay off penalty.

Doesn't arctic have '0down0interest no payment for 6 months' right now? That sounds better! You could probably get a better interest rate at your credit union.

I bought an '03 prox and went to my local credit union to get my loan. I got 5.94 % interest for 5 years, no pre-pay penalty, and my payments will be $89.00 a month. Also get another .25% off if I do automatic payments from my account. Also the loan is approved but I dont start to pay until the sled comes in and I activate the loan. I have up too 6 months to activate.

only problem is I dont have a sled yet.

Hey the loan looks good from the dealers perspective until you look at it on paper:

Loan Balance: $7,000.00
Loan Interest Rate: 9.60%
Loan Term: 5 years
Minimum Payment: $99.00

Monthly Loan Payment: $147.36

Number of Payments: 60

Cumulative Payments: $8,841.24
Total Interest Paid: $1,841.24

you would save a grand to drop it to a 5.6% loan:

Loan Balance: $7,000.00
Loan Interest Rate: 5.60%
Loan Term: 5 years
Minimum Payment: $99.00

Monthly Loan Payment: $134.03

Number of Payments: 60

Cumulative Payments: $8,041.90
Total Interest Paid: $1,041.90
