I have been watching the weather nationwide, since Michigan is so depressing. Why is Nebraska getting hammered, whilewe have 45 and rain??
After Christmas looks a little better. I'm crossing all appendages for new years sledding trip. I'll probably put the bikes and sleds in the trailer. I'm going to play no matter what I guess.

Here in Ontario:

First day of winter. I am going for a ride on my motorcycle. Just to say I did.

THIS SUCKS!!!!

I hear ya, I have put more miles on the street bike in December that the sled, THIS SUCKS!!
They really are not predicting any real snow for most of MI until at least the first few weeks of January (probably just in time for the January thaw).

Gotta stop, getting cynical.

Oh, and the snow in Denver is doing very little for me, but our lab manager loves it because his in-laws live there and were supposed to be driving to MI for Christmas. They are snowed in - he said it is the best Christmas present he could ask for!

Here in central Ontario I'm outside chopping wood without a coat on!! Unbelieveable really, not even any ice on the water. Heck, I could put the boat back in and go fishing :whatever:

Cory do a snow dance sacrifice a chicken do what ever it take to make it snow. I depend on Parry Sound for my sledding it’s just a short 2 hour drive to prime trails. You guys always have snow even when we have none. I’m going to cry now, the worst part is all my co-workers making fun of me every morning I come in. I think what we need is a mini Day After Tomorrow situation just not as bad.

I know me to I bought a snowblower this year because I was sick of shovelling and I moved further into the so called snow belt and I have a big driveway now.

Nothing but some rain and mild temps for Ontario into this weekend and most of next week, this blows,
It will be well into the first full week of Jan before anything may happen then it will take some time for trails to set up>looks like mid Jan ( at best) again before we get out, just hope for a good mid and late season to make it up to us.
What sucks even more? There isn't even any ice on the lakes to kill some time icefishing.

Lets keep our fingers crossed for a repeat of Jan 1999!!!!!!

an old adage is a watched pot never boils. this is a thing that we can't be prepared for or it will seem like forever waiting.

Weird weather now a days, we was riding a 1 and a half foot dump in october this year. I mean we always have a longer season than most peeps get (cuz the alt) but October? looks like here in Maine we are headed for another sucky winter. the weather has been clear and cold but when any clouds roll in it warms up and rains.

I walked out of the house this morning and saw a dew worm in the middle of the driveway. So, I said to myself.......self, thats not a good sign for winter.
May as well summerize the sled and get the boat back out of storage.

We have been getting some little storms for the last couple of weeks here in Homer, AK. I prolly have a little of 2 feet out where I live.

Forecast for tonight is snow, snow likely on Saturday, and snow possible on Sunday. Should get close to another foot out of this storm.

Oh yeah went riding a bunch today, I live on a 180 acre peice of property that I can ride all over and miles and miles of trial are accessible from my house.

Sorry don't mean to rub it in but I just had to much fun today.
