im wiring up my sled that had no tach or temp gauges and im wondering how to wire up my tach.

1.do i just connect a postive and negative wire for the tach?

2.and just to be sure, for the tamp gauge i connect one ground to the sending unit then another ground coming off the sending unit to the gauge, then hook up a postive wire
