hi fellas i am currently working on my 92 mach 1 transmission. the secondary helix is looking pretty rough. after checking the www.worldofpowersports.com web site i see the part i need is worth $173. this is absolutely ridiculous gouging imo. i am happy with the current gearing and would like to find an aftermarket helix with roughly the same pitch as stock as well as the plastic bushing that goes around the helix ($90+ arghh) and the slider shoes. can anyone point me in the right direction towards an aftermarket outfit that sells these or better quality parts for reasonable dollars. thanks

go over to dootalk and put a want to buy in the swap section. i've no doubt you can get a replacement helix for 10 bux.

ebay baby.

If not, just cross referance the angle and get a helix from Dalton, Goodwin, Micro Belmont, etc....
