Greetings folks, have a question about plugs. I am riding a 2003 800 RMK. What would happen if I were to run plugs a range or two colder that what is specified by the sled manufacturer? Again, appreciate the help. :lookaround:

performance wise, you'll lose some power, foul plugs faster, lose some performance.
safety wise, nothing at all. it's much better to go colder than hotter. hotter will cause problems.
if you must, go with the colder plugs, but it's still prefered to stick with what the recommend. good luck. -Polaris Doc

And why would you want to do that? Ok I guess, in a pinch to get home and you need to bum some plugs from a buddy, because yours are fouled. Other than that, why?
