Wow.....When I started this I was just messin a little with Dave But I see you all have some really cool jobs..

Since we are revealing what we all do again, I will too. I work at a school, it is a school for mentally challenged adults. There is a wide range of levels and capabilities for these people. It is my job to help them become as independent as they can be. It is my job to care for them, give them medications, teach them whatever they can and are willing to learn through alot of consistency and patience. It is not my job to love them the way that I do, but the people I work with are truely great people who have so much to offer and so much love to give back.

Working in the metal industry is challenging and rewarding.

Snow4mydooplz, my job seems so trivial compared to yours. Heck if we made a mistake with the product, it could always be scrapped, melted down and rolled again. You, my friend work with a precious commodity that is very special. Thanks for reposting.

That's what I always tell my doctor friend. If I screw up I can lose a few million $$ for the company and policyholders but if he screws up, someone could lose their life!

Ok, I'll play.. I drive about 100 miles a day... I go into grocery stores and Physically pull pallets loaded with soda out on to the floor and stock shelves for Coca-Cola... I am 4'11" tall and weigh around 150lbs... these pallets are around 1/2 ton or so...thank goodness for pallet jacks..
It is a really hard job, but I have lost 25 lbs and keep losing... great excercise.. And I can throw my sled around so much better this year..
Next time you are in a store and you see this great soda display.. someone put those together one box at a time, they don't come out of the warehouse like that..
I love my job... sound like you all like your jobs as well.

Well I am supposed to be developing plans to redo are great roads in PA that everyone #####es about. We get a project assigned to us and management tells us in general what they want done. Then I go out and look the project over and see what drainage work needs done, along with shoulder repair, guiderail work and other things need done. Some projects we get to reallign intersections and other things. After a week or two in the field, then I get to sit in the office for the next couple months drwaing it in Microstation and INROADS on the computer. Also get the joy of filling out paperwork for DEP to replace pipes that our in OUR road. I dont like dealing with them!! Also got to work with our enviromental group so they know we arent going in wetlands or disturbing BOG turtles. Its interesting in a way, because every project is different in a way, but I do get bored with it at times and HAVE to check out whats going on here at SW during the day!! :undercover:

Ok, my turn,,, Well got out of high school and went to Vegas to try to make it big,,, I ended up working as a chipendales dancer,,, man it was great but the travel was just too much,,,

so from there, I went back to college at Alabama and ended up getting drafted by the Miami Dolphins (2nd round),,, I blew my knee out 3rd game of the season, actually tore 3 of the 4 ligaments out and they surgically repaired it but doctors didnt advise me to continue football,,,

so life after football took me back out west to Hollywood,,, figured I would give acting a try,,, I never got the chance to star in anything, but did a lot of stunt work for Adam Sandler and also played small parts in a couple of movies (Independence Day, Bad Boys 2, and the Waterboy were the biggest ones),,, also did quite a few commercials,, I was the husband in the Dawn dishwashing soap commercial that you see on TV all the time and I was also the guy selling the Lexus in the Lexus commercial that was shown during the superbowl 2 years ago.

I got burnt out from the fast pace of life in Hollywood and decided to go back to my roots and start over,,, so now I live less than 20 mile from where I was born here in northwest Ohio and I am once again a salesman. I sell bridges,,,, I have a heck of a deal on a bridge in San Fransisco,,, let me know if your interested,,, I have worked with the owner and really have it priced to move,,,
