We are under a Lake effect snow advisory until this afternoon. Then just plain snow every day now!

JD was the only one predicting the big storm this weekend (as of yesterday) but today more and more are seeing his model taking place  After the storm moves through the wind is shifting to come from the North and I think we all know what that means w00t

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF WESTERN UPPER
MICHIGAN AND CENTRAL UPPER MICHIGAN.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT

EXPECT LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS TO DEPOSIT AN ADDITIONAL INCH OR
TWO OF SNOW NEAR LAKE SUPERIOR THIS MORNING EAST OF MARQUETTE.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DEVELOP IN NEW MEXICO ON FRIDAY AND MOVE
TOWARD THE GREAT LAKES THIS WEEKEND INTO EARLY NEXT WEEK. AT THIS
TIME...THE HEAVIEST SNOW IS EXPECTED TO FALL TO THE SOUTH AND EAST
OF UPPER MICHIGAN. HOWEVER...IF THE TRACK MOVES CLOSER TO UPPER
MICHIGAN...A MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOWFALL MAY OCCUR. STAY TUNED TO
LATER FORECASTS AS THE TRACK OF THE SYSTEM AND HEAVY SNOWFALL ARE
REFINED. AFTER THE SYSTEM PASSES...LOOK FOR THE COLDEST AIR OF THE
SEASON TO MOVE INTO THE AREA.[/b]

I knew there was something big happen, after not getting to much sleep the past few days. Must be from all the excitment of the SW trip and we still have a wk to go  .
This morining I woke up to my thumb twitching and every once in awhile my brake finger had a little twitch too.

10-12-14 INCHES !!!, I want waist deep please  I just hope it settles a bit for when we go up to help base and keep us from catching stumps.

We got another 3-4 last night with lots more coming. The groomer is running from Manistique to Shingleton today, so there will be a nice base in a few days. I don't like that fluffy stuff until we have a good base, but we will take what we get and be happy about it!!!

By the time you get here you won't need your thumb; just tape the throttle down and steer!!!

They will have those trails in top shape as usual.
