Does any one have a suggestion where I can find some 151 rails for my 2001 RMK? or maybe how much they cost new? I've been looking, but can't find too many scrap dealer references to try. Any idea? Thanks All

I bought some extensions from my dealership i bolted on a sled once to go from a 136 to a 144 and it worked pretty good and was cheaper (125 can$) than a whole new set of rails. Another option is to use the same rails (you don't say how long the originals are or if your just replacing a set of wrecked 151's)and just move them back on the tunnel but you would have to drill new holes in your tunnel. I knew a guy who did this once and he claimed the attack angle on the front of the track improved by doing it this way which improved his climbing???

Those are some great ideas, but I have a crack in my rail around the mid point. My plan was to have it welded, but I was told the integrity of the metal would chnage from the heating and the rail would fail. Now I'm looking to by one replacement or both. Where do you look for used parts? Thanks for the suggestions.

The Fett Borther's renforcement is pretty slick, but from what it says, it's more for the grooving the suspension componets cause on the rails. Mine are cracked. I've decided to break down and go for one new replacemrnt at $200. I didn't realize that 151 was such a hard to find track size, I guess it's more for us mountain folks. Thanks for the helpful suggestions.
