I need help figuring out what year 2 Polaris snowmobiles I purchsed are by their VIN's. The person I bought them from was mistaken by what I've found so far!

Earlier Polaris (at least into the mid 90`s) used the 1st 2 digits to denote the year. I don`t know when they started, but I know 12xxxxx is a 1985, 13xxxxx is a 1986 14xxxxx, is a 1987 etc.
