In April of last year I bought a brand new 2006 firecat 600 EFI. So Finally the trails are opening up here, and I took it out today. I put about 100 miles on. The owners manual says to use 100/1 premix for the first tank which I have. But heres my question, After the 100 miles, the low oil light began to flicker, and it had sucked back the full tank of gas. I can remeber sledding last year with a guy with an 04 F7 (not EFI) and he didnt go through near this much oil and gas. Is there a sensor in the computer that runs it rich in oil and fuel for the break in period? I have heard of this on REVs, but not sure, or is it just this bad on gas and oil?

my m6 is pretty bad on fuel as well and my freinds is the same

Somthing must be up..i just had my F6 out and put on about 120 miles and still had some left...unless you were really hammering on it..which im guessing you wernt because of the break in.

Well how much do you get on a tank of oil... I know it says in the manual that once the light starts flashing, you have on average the equivallant of one tank of gas. But does it start flashing after around 100 miles?

riight now i have 180 miles and no oil light.
