Hi, I am new to this site and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to properly set up my suspension. I just picked up a 2000 mxz 600 and was told that the setup was still set from factory. I rode it today for first time and was very disappointed in the way that it handled. I felt like I was constantly being thrown side to side, not in control. I ride mainly trails but Like to hammer on it once and awhile accross a lake or field. I weigh 155 lbs. Sure could use some advise. thanks,mxzx2

Is there no one that can help me here? Or direct me to a site that can? Would really appreciate any info.

What do you mean by thrown side to side. Like is rolling in the corners, inside ski lift? Or just really stiff so its bouncing you all around. I would definatly go through and find out what everything is set at, (preload), make sure everything is there and not broken. Just because they say it is stock doesnt mean it is. There was 6 years to experiment, who knows what was changed.
