do Yokahama , Kimpex and Camoplast all last about the same # of miles given the same conditions, or is Camoplast the percieved winner

The popular belief is Camoplast tracks are superior in all respects. I personally find better flexibility in extreme cold, better traction, long wearing and more service outlets. I have had great experience trading in new Camoplast tracks on new sleds to upgrade (something the other brands don't do). All the common sense warranty issues are respected and honored (except tear out and perforation). The larger question is is it worth finding out that you procured an inferior track out in the woods, on a mountain slope or on a well planned trip riding with your buddies.

I have had some bad experience with Kimpex on an older sled and unfortunately they were the only brand who had an available track. I also had bad experience with an OEM track made by Yokohama which lost me a season's riding way back when. The worst experience I've had with a Camoplast is watching a brand new predator burn on my sled in a fire.

I can vouch for that!
