A buddy of mine has a 1997 XLT touring which is really dogging. Clutch engagement is around 3k-3500 and seems to be lugging the triple too much. I took him boondocking in 4-5' of heavy snow yesterday and the thing is a belt burning beast! :bash:
As far as I know, the primary spring and weights are bone stock. Any suggestions for a spring/weight combination to wake this thing up some and get a little more low end grunt? :(
