Got my sled running last night. The clutch seems to be kicking in at a higher RPM.
It's engaging at 4500 RPM. As far as i know it's a stock clutch.
Just seems higher then it was last season.
When is it supposed to engage on a stock clutch?
Thanks
Jay

when is the last time that clutch was serviced? it could be a sticky bushing...it could be just real dirty inside. really clutches should be dissasembled and service at least every two years..

I have the service manual, you happen to know roughly how long it takes to tear it down and get it back up and running? Few hours or an all dayer?
Thanks

According to BRP specs your clutch should engage at 4200 RPM

yes thumbdoctor has it correct. but I am with ballsout1 as well. you should service the thing. or atleast tear it apart and give it a good cleaning. I do every year, sometimes twice a season depending on riding.
