Downriver Thunder 01-31-2007, 02:01 PM The 98 Jag I just picked up has only the speedo, no tach. I think the only 440 that came with a tach is the Z440 and ZR440. It uses a standard 4 pulse tach but I don't see any extra wiring under the hood. Does anyone know if it's possible to add one without changing wiring harness'? snofrog 01-31-2007, 04:31 PM there should be an open brown and yellow wire outlet in the hood wiring harness that is what your tach plugs into . it not only counts the pulses to give you rpm`s it powers the internal light .if not A/C sells a plug with one inlet and two outlets to plug inline and pick up an extra outlet.
