1996 ext any pointers on how to get the rear suspension out thanks

an impact gun is my first choice .second is a pair of vice grip pliars over the metal tube holding tight enough that it deforms enough to hold the inner shaft .then just ratchet wrench away . M

Did you try removing all tension off of the track and then removing the four mounting bolts?

loosen tensionner bolts

remove the 4 suspension bolts

Slap sled on side

pull the rear out by the idlers diagonially

and voila

10minutes and the suspension is out

aand reverse to put back in

Using a strap to keep the suspension compressed helps the reinstall greatly. One of the straps that Cat uses in their crates is the best.

If you haven't put it back in yet. Make sure you use a ratchet strap and collapse it down. It will slide in a lot easier
