what are the differences between 286 ramps and 287 ramps does one
shift out harder does the 287 run higher rpms :nervous:

I've used both of them , they are close enough that if you have one wouldn't buy the other IMO, they are also real close to a gp-8

I've used both profiles on my Mach 1 and the stock 286's will give more revs. from mid to top end, whereas the 287's will load the motor more (lower revs.) from mid to top. Both ramps reacted the same from eng. to mid. When leaving all other clutching alone and only changing ramps, you will have to click TRA up about 2 or 3 notches to keep same rpm's when installing the 287's. I found this to provide a very quick upshift in rpm's from eng. to mid, then still shift hard through the top. I did however prefer the 286's for trail riding, as they backshift better.
