Please HELP!!!!!!


Having some problems and I dont seem to know what Im missing. Everything is in place no missing parts.

its a yamaha 1997 mountain max 700 triple.
new too me.

I just replaced the rear shock Absorber with an oem Yamaha shock and spring. And yet it still bottoms out on the smallest of bumps.

I adjusted the adjust ring on the shock too almost the tightest setting 3 from tightest.

I need to know what to do to set it to the max settings. This would be a great help and anything would be an asset in helping me out right now..

yamaha suspension i do not know a ton bout but does it have a rear transfer block or any way to adjust coupling

there are different holes to mount the shock in to give it a higher rate
