[COLOR=red]My bro has a 2001 mxz 600 Adrenaline and wants to change from his 2" bar riser to a 5". We got the riser, longer steel braided brake line, and the throttle cable extension kit . But, we went to throw this sucker on and all the electrical wires are too short . Way too short!!!! I work at a doo dealership and threw the problem around and we have no ideas. Is cutting and splicing the only solution? I hope not, but if it has to be done than so be it. Getting any parts from doo or electrical conectors shouldn't be a problem. Anyone have any ideas? Let me know. :hallo4:
I would cut the wires and install a custom wire extension. Something that can be plugged in. In case you want to remove the riser down the road, it would be easy to change.
just my 2 cents :hallo6:

Just splice it, man... Just make sure you solder and seal all the connections with shrink tubing. It'll be good as new! :sly:

If you work at the dealer...
Just get an extra set of connectors, and make a jumper cable(s). Unplug what you have now and insert the jumper between them.
That way it can easily be brought back to stock when you take the riser off...
Cutting and soldering with a shrink wrap cover is cheaper solution -- but not easily removeable.
