Just wondering if the SRX 600 can be made to be good in off trail situations???

I know they aren't meant to be off trail sleds but can they be adjusted to be able to ride off trail but stuill be great on trail

1.25 track?

136" rails?

Just curious for future purchase of sled

I like the 99 SRX 600 looks and feel,
friends all have 600cc sleds i rather stay away from the SRX700 :withstupid: call me stupid

I want a unique sled

A guy at the shop I work at has a 99 SRX 600 and he had to put a new track on it last year. He opted for a preditor 1" track. His sled does not do well off trail. I guess that track pulls to much snow into the tunnel and ends up bogging down the works. So to answer part of your question, no probably won't be good through the deep powder with an 1.25. In fact can you even fit one on that without removing the tunnel protectors?

NOPE! the track angle from the drive wheels to the rails is to steep, it just digs holes. we put an 1.5" on a friends & it just diggs bigger holes!

Drop and roll the chain case and you'll have a ball with 136 rails and a 1.250 track. Though the 600 is a dog IMO. Same money can get a 700. So much more power freezerburnt!
