I have a question about Mini-Z's. My kids have used a 2000 model for the past 2 years and had a ton of fun. I have bought a 32 tooth driven sprocket to speed it up to about 15 mph. I have read that I need to tie off the governor spring or else the engine will not have enough power to accelerate from a stop. Anyone have any experience with this???

I would be careful the governor mechanism is plastic and will break.I took the engine down and pulled the plastic out on my sons.
