Hello,
I just got from a neighbor a older (He believes a late 80's SRV) and i'm having a low end power problem with it.
The motor is a twin cylinder with 1 carb and the problem is the it has NO POWER down low but once it gets moving it screems.
Now the exhaust does have a leak to it but would that cause it to have no pwer down low? Also there is 2 vacuum lines on it and 1 is plugged and the other just is plugged back into the front of the carb pushed into a little what looks like a vacuum port.

Is there a chance that there is something in the air box that is not letting it move air?
Any help is appreciated!

How is the drive belt? Is it sitting right at the outside of the secondary clutch?
Carbourator may very well need cleaning. The airbox design on those sleds had alot to be desired. My SS440 and my buddies SRV needed carbs cleaned 3 times a season.
