My dad was telling me about an interesting article he read yesterday somewhere. He was saying that a house like we have down here in portland (roughly worth $200-225,000 here) only costs about $20-30,000 up there (millinocket/greenville, the mooshead area). So he says were going up there sometime soon to check some places out. I told him why not just buy or build a camp up there. But he found an AWESOME deal on some land up near mooshead (cant remember exactly where, but ill find out) and hes gonna have a house/camp built for around $20,000! I cant WAIT to go up there ALL THE TIME in the winter for sledding, and summer for the fishing. I will be up there all the time, weekends, school vacations, whatnot. awesome news! hopefully he buys/builds something!

sounds like hes gettin a hell of a deal and he could make some money off that if he ever decides to sell buy up all the land you can if its that cheap you will never regret it my parents with they would have gotten more then they did 300 acres just isnet enough to farm and live and hunt buy up all that you can its worth it in the long run and happy memories ! :D
