Just wondering how to make this old beast faster, for cheap?

i have an 88, 377 safari scout. i get it up to about 60-65 with no problem. its only a 377, how much faster do you want it to go. if you need more speed, buy something bigger.

Same here, my ol' 88 Safari goes along just fine....as doo-ski said, if you need more speed, you'd be better off buying something w/ more displacement....Just my opinion....

good idea. but hang on to the safari, because it is a fun little sled and it doesnt weigh much.

my buddy has a 92 safari 377 or should i say had.he messed with it so much trying to make it faster it went boom.now he has a safari that goes real fast 0 lol.the old saying is if it ain't broke don't fix it. we all told him to leave it alone but he knew everything :withstupid: thats the best way to explain him :p

Yeah I got a saffari grand lux 447 and that stupid thing, aint real fast at the top end but you can ride around most of the day with skis danglin,, I laugh like crazy when ever I take it out to mess around,, AWSOME trail breaker too.

im tellin ya, i like riding the 377 around my house just messing around. its way more fun to play on then the bigger sleds. i would definately keep yours and buy a new one for the power.
